Can you get viral encephalitis from a dog bite or from the antibiotic Augmentin prescribed for the bite? - viral encephalitis more condition_symptoms
My son was bitten by a dog, Border Collie in August 2008. She was prescribed the antibiotic Augmentin to fight against a possible infection in his case for a week. Two weeks later my son was diagnosed with viral encephalitis. It is still the symptoms of the skin, tingling, sleepiness, difficulty speaking, in April 2009. They are the same symptoms you had in August, with the exception of hallucinations. Bite Is there a relationship between a dog and Encephalitis? Please send me someone who can give me answers. Thank you.
